I believe (fingers crossed) that Noah is officially on a sleep schedule. :) Weeeeeeee! We have a nice little routine down and he has consistently been sleeping 7-9 hours through the night! YAY! Friday and last night Noah slept 9 hours! WOOOOOOT! He had his last bottle at 9:30 and was conked out by 10:00 and didn't get up until after 7:00am!!! :) I'm hoping this little tread sticks, but Mommy is okay with the 6:00am wake up call as well.
He is also starting to get into more of a regular routine throughout the day in terms of eating and naps, though his need for snacks rivals his Mama's. He'll normally kill somewhere between 5-7 ounces at his morning feeding. He'll stay up for about 2-2.5 hours, depending on when his little happy tail wakes up. No joke he is my kid and LOVES the mornings, not so much like his Daddy ;) He may occasionally take a little Honey Badger Nap and then wake up to eat some more in another 15-30 mins. He then proceeds to snack/eat every 2-3 hours through out the day which is no big deal in my book haha! He'll take a long nap in the late morning that normally lasts 1-2 hours and then another long nap in the late afternoon.
I'm glad we didn't have to force a schedule on him, that he set it all by his little (**fat**) self. The one area that I am a little concerned about (not really so much right now, but more thinking towards the future) is he never really puts himself to sleep, except for nap time. We have on several occasions put him done in his crib (shocker!) and he'll just put himself to sleep. I believe its because he over excites himself talking to his dinosaurs and trying to grab/run to them that he tuckers himself out. It's pretty hilarious. Every night we give him his last bottle and he falls asleep on us. Granted when he is in the milk coma I'm sure if we put him down he would go to sleep just fine on his own, but because of his reflux we have to hold him upright for at least 20 mins after he eats...which means he always falls asleep in Mommy or Daddy's laps.
Regardless I am super proud of our little porker and all the progress he has made! :) Even if that progress means I will soon have no more reasons to keep my little baby in my room every night (no worries I have cried over this). Other reasons that I cried this weekend: he has officially moved into his 3-6 clothing, he will be four months in one week and Mama is about to have her last year of her twenties thrust upon her. SOB! At least I have a wonderful little baby to show for it!
PS I forgot to mention how much Noah is like me with his sleep, not only is he a morning baby, but he is the crankiest little boy when he wakes up from his naps! hahaha That's what I get for all the times I have been cranky when I'm woken up!
