Alaskan Cruise-Part III

Day 3: Tracy Arm Fjord/Sawyer Glacier/Juneau
When we woke up on Monday morning, we went up to the 10th level for breakfast as usual as we were entering into the Tracy Arm Fjord.  Breathtakingly gorgeous!
Sawyer Island--That little white speck on the tree is a bald eagle!

Sawyer Glacier--National Geographic research boat bottom right

Enjoying breakfast with Aunt Gail

We headed back to get ready to spend the rest of the day in Juneau!

On the tendering boat making our way into Juneau
Sea Plane
We walked around "downtown" Juneau, I swear to you it was no bigger than Franklin, VA and yet its the capital of Alaska. Blows my mind, considering I've been to Fairbanks and Anchorage which are completely different from Juneau.
After coffee these bears found an Alaskan bear :)
We then took a tram up to the top of Mt. Rodgers for an amazing view of Juneau.

Eagle!

Captain Adorable needed a nap and refused

All dressed up for supper, but ready for bed

Day 4: Skagway, AK
How mangy is this moose?!?
We had a full day planned in Skagway.  We had a bus tour around town, followed by panning for gold and a lunch on site (yummo!), bus tour up to Fraser, Canada and a train ride back down to Skagway.
These boys are ready to pan for gold!

Melts my heart!
We scored $25 worth of gold on our panning expedition, alas Noah just wanted to eat it!
Bridge that is built over a fault line and moves when their are quakes

Yay! We are in Canada! :)
Our only bear spotting was in Canada!
On the train back to Skagway
Bear butt!
Loving the train ride!

Day 5: At Sea
Well I have to say that this was the first Fourth of July, that I haven't seen fireworks in a very, very long time. Sad that Noah missed out on that treat...but I'm sure it will be all the more special next year.  The ship was decked out in red, white and blue in celebration of America's birthday. And of course so was my little boy :)
Happy 4th of July!
This last day at sea was full of ice cream treats, coffee, naps and lots of trivia and games with the family! It was also the second and last formal night. We dressed to impress! :)
Noah and his cousin Skylar
Noah loved our waiters Jose and Gilberto so much!
Too big for his britches!
Our little family!
Day 6: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
I fell in love with Victoria. It was so beautiful and CLEAN! :)  LOVED it! We've discussed flying back to Seattle and renting a car to drive to Victoria and Vancouver....maybe one day right?! ;)
Mt. Baker, in Victoria City, Washington, USA
The famous Empress Hotel
This is actually a bush, not a tree...weird
Government Building

We had a wonderful trip! :)
