Weekend Update

This past weekend we made the long (4 hours with treat bathroom breaks) trek home to my parents' house for the weekend.  My cousin Brittany is getting married in September and my parents threw her a couples bridal shower on Saturday.  We got in just in time to grab a bite to eat with my folks at Joe's Pizza.  Joe's is pretty much the only restaurant on this side of the Black Water River after they put in the bypass the McDonald's on our side got shut down. Boo!  Coolest play place ever. It was the old school one.  Otherwise you have to drive 30 mins (give or take traffic...traffic in these parts being a slow car, animals in the road or a tractor! hahaha) to Franklin or Windsor.  Thank goodness Joe's is awesome, best pizza ever! :)

Unfortunately, a huge storm rolled in Saturday and put the breaks on a lot of people showing up.  Regardless we had a wonderful time.  The only thing that would have been better was getting a chance to go swimming! Oh well.  Noah was very curious about my Sister's dog.  Sister has a min pin. Noah spent the entire weekend trying to grab her, but then turning himself around in circles on the floor in an attempt to avoid her.  It was hilarious.  Pictures courtesy of my Sister...stolen from FB obvi! ;)
